11/13/09
Still sifting through the rubble trying to get it out of the store and cataloged for the insurance company. We should be done by mid next week and then we can focus on getting a temporary location going and taking care of our customers who have instruments with us.If anybody needs anything taken care of for their instruments being rented from us feel free to call or email so we can make arrangements to meet up to take care of you.
A lot of people have been asking if we are going to have a "fire sale" or sell any of the damaged merchandise. The answer to that is no. We won't have any of the damaged merchandise left after the insurance company is done with it. Sorry guys. hope to see you all sooner than later. Thanks.

We were able to get all of the repair and consignment instruments out of the store yesterday. They are currently being slow dryed to see how they'll turn out. We'll try to take a look in a few days to see how they are, after that we'll start contacting people to let them know the fate of their instruments. Thanks again to everyone for all of their patience, we're trying to handle things as fast as we can.
Still no definite plans for the future but we are working on it and will post up as soon as we know for sure. We finally got to go back in the store today. It's not a pretty site in there. Unfortunately we were not able to sift through anything. We will have to wait until Tuesday to meet with our insurance guy to get some more answers. I'll post more info as we get it. Thanks

We still have not been allowed back in the store. We are waiting for our insurance company to get with it and get this ball rolling. Our plan right now is to relocate to the old Living Word space that is 4 doors down from us in the same plaza. We are ready to get back on our feet but unfortunately things are moving slower than we would like or expected. I'll continue posting updates as we get them. Thanks for checking in.

Well it's been awhile since my last update but there hasn't been much to tell. It looks like we will be going back to the same spot we were previously in. If all goes well we should be able to get back in sometime in May and open for business as soon as we can fill it up with product and setup all of the computers, fixtures and workshop. There is still the possibility of opening up a small temporary place between now and then but nothing for sure right now. Hope to see you all as soon as possible.

Sorry it's been so long since our last update, unfortunately there isn't a lot more to add at this point. We are still trying to hammer out the details of our triumphant return and at this point it looks like it will be at least another month before we get things going again. In the mean time everyone should come check out the shindig at The Stump on Sunday the 20th, it should be a great time for all. The flier on the homepage says it starts at 4:00 but it has been moved up to 2:00 and will still go until 10:00. There are going to be several bands playing, raffles and give aways not to mention good food and beer. Hope to see you there.

We said goodbye to the old Bigfoot Music for the last time today. It was a good 13 years, but onward and upward. Plans for the future are still up in the air about location and time frame but we hope to pin some more details down soon. It seems like no matter what we do, nothing seems to go as fast as we want or to the plan we had in mind. Such is life. Thanks again for everyones help and patience.
